“Being on the MAFP Board is one more step in my interest in family medicine and the promotion of it. I have always been passionate about family medicine, believing that our specialty is so important to the future, and I am always willing to add my work ethic and enthusiasm to ensure that family physicians continue to hold leadership positions in the medical community as well as be a contributing part of the community in which they practice and live. I have always believed that medicine is not a job, but a lifestyle, and I am proud that it is my lifestyle,” said Dr. Stevens.
