OMT for all Physicians: Neck, Upper Back, Shoulder, and Rib Pain

Neck and upper back pain are common and challenging diagnoses in family medicine, often requiring a multidisciplinary approach. This session demonstrates how Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) can help DOs and MDs manage these conditions effectively. Participants will review key anatomy and biomechanics, explore differential diagnoses, and learn practical exam techniques to identify underlying causes. The session emphasizes translating findings into actionable treatment plans and integrating OMT into patient care and applying home exercises and stretches. By the end of this session, physicians will feel empowered to elevate their approach to neck and upper back pain management, thereby enhancing clinical practice.
