Kevin Suiter, MD

Kevin Suiter, MD is serving his first year of residency at Corewell Health East Wayne Family Medicine Residency where he works across various healthcare settings, from inpatient care to primary care clinics.

Dr. Suiter has served as Student Ambassador to MAFP and as a Board Member of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). His expertise extends beyond the clinic as he actively participates in community advocacy efforts, including volunteering at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen to support those in need. 

Inspired by his time with current MAFP Board member Dr. Bashar Yalldo, and his experiences as a student, Dr. Suiter said he is passionate about advocating for the field and ensuring patients receive the care they deserve. Dr. Suiter shared that he went into family medicine because he believes it is “the glue that holds the entire healthcare system together.”
