Committees

Committee MeetingMembers of all member types are encouraged to serve on a committee. The leadership provided by committees is key to the success of Michigan Academy of Family Physicians and Family Medicine Foundation of Michigan. No experience is needed, only a desire to make a difference on issues impacting family medicine.

Most committees meet virtually in-person and/or virtually 3-4 times per year. Additional work may be needed between meetings. Two-year committee appointments, with terms beginning in August, are made by the MAFP President and FMFM President.
