Michigan Future of Family Medicine Conference & Residency Connection

This annual conference provides opportunities for medical students to explore the breadth and depth of the family medicine specialty. Highlights include discussions with family physicians and family medicine residency faculty; hands-on workshops for learning and practicing clinical procedures common in the family medicine outpatient setting; and two hours of dedicated time to connect with residency programs and other organizations that support medical students.

Career Options in Family Medicine Small Group Discussions
A career in family medicine provides opportunities for following one's special interests and passions, from addiction medicine to sports medicine to gender-affirming care. This provides long-term practice flexibility. Over the course of nearly two hours, participants rotate through small-group discussions led by practicing family physicians focused on subspecialties and special areas of interest.
