Arti Madhavan, MD, MBA, FAAFP is a distinguished Physician Executive with over two decades of clinical expertise and leadership experience. Currently serving as the Specialist in Chief (SIC) for the Department of Family Medicine at Detroit Medical Center (DMC), she oversees operations across nine hospitals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and promoting patient safety initiatives. Dr. Madhavan's commitment to excellence extends beyond her clinical duties; she has been an active member of various leadership committees and associations, including serving on MAFP’s Advocacy Committee.

Dr. Madhavan has held multiple leadership positions, including Executive Committee membership in the Michigan Association of Indian Physicians and roles on the Physician Advisory Committee at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital. Her dedication to advocating for the profession of family medicine is evident through her involvement in professional organizations like the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian Heritage.
