Almost Half of Graduating Medical Students to Stay in Michigan

We’re proud to celebrate more than 400 MAFP student members graduating from Michigan medical schools and partner programs in 2026. Based on statewide Match trends, nearly half, or 48%, are expected to stay in Michigan for residency, and more than 40% are entering primary care specialties.
