Save the Date: Family Medicine Week is Sept. 29-Oct.4

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) recognize Sept. 29-Oct. 4, 2025, as Family Medicine Week, and the celebration continues during Primary Care Week, which takes place Oct. 5-11. These annual observances provide an opportunity to honor family physicians for their work and highlight their role as trusted messengers in Michigan and throughout the United States.

This year’s theme is, “You're their trusted source. Every patient, every stage, every day.” We encourage members to share how they’re celebrating Family Medicine Week on social media. Be sure to follow and tag MAFP and AAFP in your posts and use #FamilyMedicineWeek2025.
